1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using QuoteEdge ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. The Service is provided by QuoteEdge, contactable at [email protected].

2. Description of Service

QuoteEdge is an AI-powered quoting and invoicing platform designed for UK builders and tradespeople. The Service allows you to create projects, generate quotes, manage clients, track materials, and send invoices.

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

4. Free Trial & Subscription

  • New accounts receive a 7-day free trial with full access to all features.
  • After the trial period, a paid subscription is required to continue using the Service.
  • Subscription payments are processed securely through Stripe.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

5. Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you enter into the Service, including project details, client information, quotes, and invoices. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. You grant us a limited licence to store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

6. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses AI to assist with quote generation and plan analysis. AI-generated content is provided as a starting point and should be reviewed by you before sending to clients. QuoteEdge is not responsible for the accuracy of AI-generated estimates. You are responsible for verifying all quotes before issuing them.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service.
  • Share your account credentials with others.
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, QuoteEdge shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion, unless you request immediate deletion.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
